At the Florida House Experience we encounter individuals from all across the country and on some occasions across the globe. The diversity of our treatment programs is reflected in the diversity of individuals we treat. Alcoholism and addiction does not discriminate and individuals from all walks of life are affected. Regardless of age, race, gender, education, socio-economic status…addiction devastates and ravages indiscriminately. Our staff at the Florida House Experience recognizes that while any individual can be vulnerable to the disease of addiction, treatment planning needs to address an individual’s unique needs. Over the last decade we have successfully and effectively treated many impaired professionals from a variety of diverse affluent employment backgrounds. Our compassionate, dignified and respectful approach to treating professionals continues with our understanding that outcomes for successful addiction treatment often lie in implementing a long term, strength-based therapeutic model of treatment.
LEGAL ISSUES
At the Florida House Experience we work closely with our clients embroiled in the legal system. It is not uncommon for individuals to have pending serious legal issues as a result of severe alcohol and drug abuse. Our team of staff is here to assist and guide individuals who find themselves caught in this unfortunate predicament. We understand that repeated relapse confounded with co-occurring untreated mental illness can have devastating legal, physical, and emotional consequences. Our treatment approach emphasizes relapse prevention in an effort to diminish recidivism and our long term model of rehabilitation that addresses addiction as well as co-occurring disorders simultaneously has proven successful. In so doing the Florida House Experience has developed strong relationships with the Broward County Circuit Court and our court liaisons continue to work diligently within the judicial system. Our long term approach to treatment and continuity of care has been regarded favorably by the community we serve and though we sincerely hope that you or your loved one does not require these services, please be assured that in the event that you do, the very best team of staff will assist you in every way we can through this difficult process.
